A lovely surprise arrived in the mail the other day. My copy of the latest Peppermint Magazine! I have always been a big fan of Peppermint, but this issue especially. Why you ask?
5 whole pages of the magazine are filled with illustrations made by me! The lovely girls at Peppermint have already told me about it when they first commissioned me, but I guess it never really hit you until you see the physical copy. They even did a little blurb on me in their front page. I'm definitely a spoilt little illustrator.
On a side note, I have finally opened my shop. You can visit it by clicking the shop button on your right. At the moment I am only offering custom illustrations, but will be adding some original art and some crafty goodness in the next couple of days. I hope you'll like it, and please pass it on to anyone who you think might be interested.
Only two more sleeps till the Google Exhibition opening. Do come along if you get the chance, I look forward to seeing you there.

ReplyDeleteNow, Famous Five. You can still get them at most bookstores in the teenager's section. I am not sure whether they're still illustrated but I'd be happy to scan more illustrations and add them to my Flickr if you're keen. You might even be able to find some on Flickr.
Congrats on the magazine and the Etsy shop! I love the idea of a custom building illustration! It would make a great wedding gift.
