Fancy illustration: Jil by Jil Sander

Date acquired: April 2012
Emotional worth: 3.5 stars

Do you have a signature scent? Or do you search for something different each time you've finished your current bottle. Lately, I have been wearing Jil by Jil Sander. I love the contradiction between clean and spicy. It is sexy and yet still light enough for everyday usage. Like a really good cocktail, the scent changes and adapts with you throughout the day, leaving you with a faint warm vanilla surprise by the end of the night. Not sure whether I will be feeling the same towards the end of the bottle, but right now I am more than happy to be wearing this everyday.

  1. As always a great illustration! - Unfortunately my partner is very sensitive to scents so no perfume for me! BTW your tea towels look amazing. Love the colours!

    1. Oh no, I can't imagine what life would be like without perfumes! I am really glad you like my tea towels, I'd like to make more in the future, hopefully they will sell well in the shops.

  2. Ha! What a coincidence! I'm talking scents on my blog today too! In candle form, though, so I guess it's a bit different. Fantastic illustration of the Jil Sander perfume. I don't wear anything often, but when I do spritz it's a bit of a strange one... I love the l'occitane lavender scent pour maison. I just lingers more nicely than the one for people.

    1. I just entered your competition, I love a subtle scent in a room. I think scents can really change one's mood.

The lavender scent sounds really nice, I'll have to look out for it next time I'm in the shops. I used to love wearing their honey scent, it's suppose to be for kids, and has no nasty chemicals like a grown up version.

  5. ooh I know...I have been terrible. All my travels and new job etc have been monopolising my time. All back to normal now and I am slowly getting back to normal. I did the first stage of a printing project tonight so I will see how the rest turn out!
