Winter outing

As promised, here are some pictures from the Winter Festival in Bondi. Don't you just love this photo? I love the juxtaposition between the outdoor ice rink and the people in bikinis sunning themselves in the background. How often would you see something like that in one spot? 

The girls were pretty amazing with their performance. I can't even do that on a normal floor let alone balancing on a thin blade on slippery ice...

How cute are those plastic seals for the kiddies? I wonder if they'll create an adult version for next year.

We also saw some pretty cool street art while we were there. I can't wait for summer to arrive so I too can have ice cream dripping down my shirt.

We ended the afternoon by picking up my new acquisition from the Lo-Fi Collective. It is a screen print by this artist called Mayo. I have never seen any of Mayo's work, let me know if you have. Would love to see more of his or her art.
